Chris Maxey and John Wolff to Participate at CAIA and K&L Gates Opportunity Zones Event
Rockville, MD, April 25, 2019 — Bronfman Rothschild, an independent investment advisor based in Rockville, Maryland, today announced that Director of Investment Research Christopher Maxey and Managing Director John Wolff will participate at an Opportunity Zones investment event in Washington, D.C. on April 30. The event is hosted by the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Association (CAIA) and law firm K&L Gates.
Maxey and Wolff will participate on a panel focused on bringing allocators, investors and developers together to facilitate opportunity zone investments. The panelists have expertise in a wide range of areas including real estate development, tax, legal, financial planning and investing.
“We’ve been closely following Opportunity Zone investments as a potential investment strategy for clients of Bronfman Rothschild,” said Maxey. “As evidenced by the wide range of industries and experts involved at this event, there are several nuances and complexities to Opportunity Zones that we—and our clients—need to thoroughly consider in determining investment suitability based on the clients’ long-term investment goals.”
“We look forward to lending our perspectives and learning from the other panelists at what should be an interesting and educational event,” added Wolff.
Opportunity Zone investments direct capital to economically-distressed communities and can provide compelling tax incentives to investors.
