Glen Macdonald is an experienced private family and institutional investment advisor with a focus on comprehensive wealth and investment management, impact investing and philanthropy. Recognized as a leader in values-based investing and innovative philanthropy, he is a founder and Chairman of the Wealth & Giving Forum, which promotes the effective deployment of capital among families and foundations that seek both positive financial and social returns.
Previously a Senior Vice President with U.S. Trust, Glen was a as principal at a private equity firm and a vice president at Adventis Corporation, a strategy consulting firm. Earlier in his career, Macdonald was a partner at PwC’s management consulting unit.
Glen has presented his perspective on the capital markets, impact investing and philanthropy at various conferences, including the Forbes Family Business Conference, Big Path’s Impact Capitalism Summit, the Social Impact Exchange Conference, and the Family Wealth Alliance.
Glen has also been a recipient of a Ford Foundation Fellowship at the Harvard Center for International Affairs, a French Government’s Chateaubriand Fellowship and a Fulbright Scholarship to conduct research in Mexico.
